My name is Kristin Burkholder, and I am a physical oceanographer interested in understanding how the circulation in the ocean is changing in response to warming global temperatures.  Specifically, I use output from high resolution models as well as observational datasets to examine the subsurface circulation in the Gulf of Maine.  I am also a professor passionate about working with undergraduate students in the lab and in the classroom.
